Ballet Musings

A Springtime Editorial Among the Apple Blossoms

There was a beguiling quietness in the orchard at dusk.
But for the gentle breeze,
all was peaceful and still.
The garden had awoken from Winter with such alluring abundance,
she felt compelled to embody it.
Tiptoeing among the blooming branches with an unchoreographed lightness,
she was momentarily unburdened,
euphoric and light.
Her movement came with rhythmic ease.
Lost in her playful adagios she danced nonchalantly,
graceful, spirited.
The apple blossoms swayed,
as though choosing to accompany her freeform balletic gestures.
Spring had arrived and it was beautiful.
